Andrew A. Karalius is forty-one years of age and decided to write his story after the death of his father two years previous. He left school without any qualifications as such, though he was told he could have passed most of them. 'Youth is wasted on the young.' He says with a smile.

He has since become a student with The Writers Bureau and is a freelance writer earning a small amount of money from articles and letters. His favourite author is Frank Mccort and credits him for this book after reading Angela's Ashes.

Mccort once wrote... 'If I can do it, anyone can.' So he did.
